Carrie and Oren Igou Scholarship

The Trustees each year beginning with the school year 1989-90, select an outstanding student or students in the senior class at Northwood-Kensett High School as a recipient(s), taking into account both merit and need.
The Trustees shall award an amount to the said students for his or her first year of college or vocational-technical schooling, provided the student maintains a scholastic record which is deemed by the Trustees to merit a continuation of the award.
In order to be considered for an Igou Scholarship, each interested senior will need to complete the application and return it to the high school guidance counselor, by no later than April 1 of the year in which the award(s) is made.
